Groundwork works on a phone, for the people whose work happens away from a desk.
Open it where you stand
On a phone, a Groundwork map has the same features and the same editing as at a desk, in the browser you already have. The layout adapts to the screen: a full-screen map, with your data on a sheet that slides up from the bottom.
Made for touch
On a touch screen, a tap near a small feature selects it, so you don't have to hit it exactly. Where features overlap, tapping opens a picker so you can choose the one you meant, and you press and hold where you'd right-click at a desk. The map keeps working behind the sheet, so you can pan and zoom without closing anything.
What's near me?
Set your location by searching an address or using the device's position, then turn on Nearby to list features by real travel distance. Pick one to draw the route to it.
Capture it once, on the spot
Put what you find straight onto the map. Draw it by hand, or place it where you're standing from your device's position. Then fill in its details and save it to your organisation's live data. If a save fails, the app stops until you retry or discard it, so nothing quietly vanishes.

Groundwork needs a connection today, so plan for that before heading somewhere without one.
