Legend chips

← What's newsearch and navigation

If a layer is styled by one field, the legend below the layer name is a set of chips. Each chip has a symbol, a value and a count. The chips are that field’s filter. Press one to narrow the map and the list to that value, then press others to add or remove them. To collapse the chips to their symbols on one line, press the chevron at the end.

Every other field that you filter by has its own button, in a row below the layer name. Press Filter above the feature list and choose a field to add its button. Press the button to open a tick list with a count beside each value. A shared map opens with its filter buttons in place.

How to try it

  1. Open a map whose layer is coloured by a field, such as the Urban forest demo.
  2. Press a chip under the layer name.
  3. Press Filter above the feature list, and choose a field.
  4. Tick a value.
