Live edits from teammates
Groundwork now watches the map’s data source while you have the map open. When a teammate saves and you are not busy with a change, your map updates automatically, and you do not need to click anything.
If you are part of the way through a task, nothing changes while you work. Examples are a drawing, an edit, or a change of your own that Groundwork has not finished saving. You get their version the next time that they save, or the next time that you open the map.
This works on maps that save to a shared cloud folder. On other sources, you still get the current data each time the map loads, as before.
How to try it
- Open the same shared map on two devices, or in two browser windows.
- Edit a feature in one copy.
- Save the feature.
- Look at the other copy. The change shows without a reload.
