Mobile improvements
On a phone, you can now press and hold the map to do what a right-click does on a desktop.
- On an empty spot, it shows Set location.
- While you edit a feature’s geometry, it shows Add vertex, Delete vertex or Move point here.
The bottom sheet stays where you put it. A swipe over the feature list scrolls the list, and does not drag the sheet. The sheet also does not jump when you pick a feature or return to the list. A tap on a feature on the map is the only action that raises the sheet. When the keyboard opens, the sheet stays open above it. If a menu is open in the sheet, Escape closes that menu.
You can scroll the settings panel, and it does not go past the bottom of the screen. A tap near a small feature selects it, so you do not have to hit it exactly.
How to try it
- Open a map on a phone.
- To see Set location, press and hold an empty part of the map.
- Drag the sheet by its handle.
- Swipe the feature list. The list scrolls, and the sheet does not move.
- Open the settings from the top of the panel.
