Records attached to a feature
Some maps hold records that belong to a feature, such as the inspections of a tree or the jobs done on it. On those maps, a feature’s details have a tab for each dataset of records, after Details. Press a record to open it.
On a map that you can edit, press the Add button at the bottom right of a tab to add a record, such as Add Inspection. Groundwork completes the link to the feature, the date and a geometry for you. To change an open record, press Update.
Search and the filter read the records too. So you can show the trees whose inspection says Poor, although the trees themselves hold no condition. A layer’s Status row puts a value from each feature’s most recent record on its row in the list. If a dataset has a photo field, each record shows its photo above its fields.
How to try it
- Choose Create new map from the map name at the top of the panel.
- Press the Urban forest card.
- Choose a street tree from the list.
- Open its Inspections tab.
- Press a record.
